1. Navigate to the Settings section on the left-hand menu
    • This will open a drop-down, select “Product Attribute Categories”
    • A list will appear with all Attributes in the system
  2. Select Add from the top-left
    • A new window will appear
  3. Name
    • Enter the name of the Attribute (Shirt Sizes – as an example)
  4. Active
    • Always select this box, as it makes the Attribute available
  5. Multi-Select
    • Only select this option in the scenarios where multiple Attributes should be selected (i.e. Pizza Toppings, as customers can purchase additional toppings)
  6. Is In Store
    • This will almost always be active
  7. Is Public
    • This should be checked anytime the Product could possibly be purchased by an online User
  8. Is Required
    • This makes the Product require an Attribute selection to continue – it is generally used for any Product in which the customer needs to select an option (Shirt color, Shirt size, etc.)
  9. Click Save
  10. Now that it is saved, we can start adding buttons
    • Click Add under the Attributes section of this window
  11. It will pull up a new popup window, begin entering the information
  12. Name
    • This is the name of the specific Attribute/Button being added
  13. Override Price
    • This price will be added onto the Base Price of the Product the Attribute is being applied to (see examples)
    • Product A: Unit Price $0.00 – Has two Attributes
      1. Attribute 1: Override Price $1.50 = Total Price $1.50
      2. Attribute 2: Override Price $2.50 = Total Price $2.50
    • Product B: Unit Price $10.00 – Has two Attributes
      1. Attribute 1: Override Price $0.00 = Total Price $10.00
      2. Attribute 2: Override Price $5.00 = Total Price $15.00
  14. Percentage
    • We generally recommend using the Override Price to increase the Product by a Flat Amount, however, this should increase the Product’s Base Price by a percentage when applied
  15. Active
    • Always select this box if you wish the button to be available
  16. Click Save
  17. Repeat this process for each Attribute/Button you want on this type of Attribute (i.e. Shirt Sizes – Small, Medium, Large, Extra-Large, etc.)
  18. Now that the Attribute is set up, go back to Inventory and click “Edit” on the Product to add the new Attribute to
  19. Once on that Product’s page, select the “Attributes” sub-tab
  20. Click Add in the top-left corner, select “Attribute Category” from the drop-down – this will pull up a drop-down list of all Attributes
  21. Search for the name of the Attribute (not the buttons, the actual Attribute Category) you just created, click Save
